Hi everyone! As promised yesterday, here is the latest photo of my neck. Check out that incision! Looking good. This morning I massaged the entire area as directed to do so by my surgeon yesterday. I used a lotion, and then I put a natural botanical/vitamin product on it (for scarring, as recommended by someone at Whole Foods) and then I swiped a little dab of sunscreen over it. Mind you, aside from driving into the sun I got no other sun exposure today. But I applied the sunscreen anyway, anything to keep the scar from darkening in the event of the sun finding a way to shine on my neck!
What do you think? I think it's looking really good. It's hard to imagine that surgery was just three weeks ago today.
I took the 2nd photo above from a little further back to show you just how visible, or NOT, the incision is from just a foot or two away.
